Job Description:
The Senior Project Accountant will play a crucial role in
managing financial aspects of multiple projects, ensuring accurate
reporting, and compliance with company policies. This role is ideal

Details This opportunity is with a well-established, medium-sized
general contractor in the Western Suburbs of Illinois. They provide

environment. Description Prepare and manage project budgets,
forecasts, and financial reports. Ensure timely and accurate
billing, including contract compliance and revenue recognition.
Collaborate with project managers to monitor project performance
and costs. Reconcile project accounts and resolve discrepancies as
needed. Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to
project accounting. Maintain compliance with company policies and
relevant accounting standards. Provide financial insights and
recommendations to support decision-making. Support internal and

successful Senior Project Accountant should have: Bachelor's degree
in Accounting or Finance 5 years of experience in project
accounting Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of project accounting principles and practices.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent
organizational and time management abilities. Strong communication
skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Job
