Job Summary: -
- The Production Manager is accountable for managing all production activities to manufacture large, custom machinery using the design engineering team' s finished designs. The Production Manager will effectively create the production schedule, build orders, and build prints for manufacturing. -

Job Duties:

• - Break down finished 3D designs of heavy, custom, capital equipment and create build prints, production schedules, build orders, BOMs, and anything else production will need to build the machinery from scratch. -
• Determine the best build order and allocate resources including CNC machinery, weld teams, build teams, specialty equipment, and more to ensure capital machinery projects are made according to customer specifications, within budget, and within production deadlines. -
• Work with individuals, cross functional teams, and other Department Managers daily to meet project deadlines to maintain a high level of on time delivery
• Ability to think, plan, and act accordingly to maintain efficiency and effectiveness or people and processes in a fast paced, high mix/low volume production environment.
• Responsible for the safety, quality, and performance of production employees.
  Qualifications:
  
  • Bachelor' s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' Manufacturing and Metal Fabrication experience. -
  • Ability to read and understand 3d Engineering Drawings (Experience with Inventor is a plus) -
  • Experience with ERP Systems required. -
