My client is seeking a talented and experienced CNC Manager to take ownership of their complex precision machining operation. This person will be in a unique, exciting position, serving as both a hands-on, technical expert for CNC production, as well as a bridge between production & C-Suite/company ownership. Client Details My client is a rapidly growing manufacturer of complex, precision machined components, serving a variety of industries including Aerospace, Defense, and Automotive. They are on the rise, having just purchased nearby production space to expand their operation. Description Interpret blueprints and develop optimal CNC machining processes based on customer specs. Troubleshoot issues with production & part design, providing solutions to complex problems. Coordinate and direct production, operations, quality assurance, testing and maintenance in our industrial manufacturing plant. Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline factory operations. Monitor production and correct discrepancies to ensure timeline adherence. Communicate with other departments to increase efficiency and drive growth. Monitor product standards and quality-control programs. Manage and mentor a team of CNC Programmers/Machinists, and other staff. Profile A successful 'CNC Manager' should have: An engineering degree or equivalent experience. Proven experience in a complex machining environment - knowledge of 4/5-Axis milling & turning is strongly preferred. Background programming CNC machinery. Strong working knowledge of GD&T. Strong knowledge of the manufacturing industry and its equipment. Exceptional leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage and direct a team to perform and exceed expectations. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Job Offer An estimated salary range of $120,000 - $145,000 depending on level of experience. 4 total weeks PTO.
