Job Description Job Description MUST HAVE PLUMBING CERTIFICATION OR 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD. Position – Service Technician Job Location – Sun Prairie/Madison Area WI Starting Date – Immediate Employment Term – Direct Hire Employment Type – Full-Time Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (8:30am – 5:00pm) Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $25 - $35 per hour Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus Required Education – High School Diploma/GED Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience Responsibilities Diagnose and fix plumbing issues in residential and commercial settings. Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as toilets, sinks, and showers. Maintain and repair water and sewer lines, including septic systems. Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams for installation and repair projects. Communicate effectively with customers to explain problems and solutions clearly. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and work performed. Qualifications and skills Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Licensing: Active Journeyman or Master plumbing license is often required. Experience: Verifiable work experience is typically required, with the amount varying by employer. Technical skills: Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including using tools and soldering pipes. Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems effectively. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear customer and team interaction. Customer service: A strong focus on providing excellent service.
