Job Description We are seeking skilled Machinists and CNC Operators
to join our team on the 1st shift. This role is critical in
ensuring the precision and quality of our production processes,
utilizing advanced CNC machinery and equipment. Responsibilities
Check work instructions, material type, and size for accurate job
setup. Receive, load, and adjust CNC programs for optimum
production and efficiency. Multi-task and oversee multiple machines
to maximize efficiency. Manufacture or select appropriate tooling
and fixtures for job completion. Run production including secondary
operations on various machinery and equipment. Visually inspect
production for surface finish and defects. Conduct product quality
checks using measuring equipment and ensure standards are met.
Count, mark, and pack parts as needed. Perform mechanical tasks
such as loading and unloading of vises, fixtures, and parts. Return
tools to Tool crib and measuring equipment to Quality Department.
Communicate instructions and oversee jobs run by lower-skilled
personnel. Maintain a neat and orderly work area. Complete
Operations Sheet and other documents accurately. Use Real-Time Data
Collection for working hours and production logging. Collaborate
with Lead or Engineering for accurate setup and run times. Comply
with company and machine safety policies and procedures. Work
according to company Work Instructions, Policies, and ISO/AS
quality standards. Communicate production information such as
quality issues and problems to relevant personnel. Participate in
skill development and process improvement activities. Follow all
written and oral instructions. Resolve day-to-day issues through
effective teamwork. Accept and complete other duties to meet
company needs as assigned. Essential Skills Expert technical
ability to set up and run secondary operations. Ability to load,
unload tools, and enter offsets. Proficiency in reading, modifying,
and editing programs. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and
customer specifications. Strong use of calibrated metrology devices
for part inspection. Distinguish different raw materials and
understand machining properties. Working knowledge of basic
trigonometry. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
OSHA-required training in Lock-out/Tag-out, Hazard Communication,
PPE, and Emergency Evacuation. In-house training on all assigned
machinery and equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a Job Shop environment is preferred. Understanding of
machining properties for materials like Stainless Steel. Maintain a
working knowledge of appropriate mathematical skills. Why Work

smaller shop with 22 workers on the 1st shift, operating from 6
a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a typical workweek of 50 hours once fully
trained. Work with our 6 brand new CNC machines in a job shop
environment, focusing on low quantity runs averaging 20-100 pieces.
Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Elk
Grove Village, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position
is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr. Insurance is mostly paid for by
M&R, but there are employee contributions also. We have 4 Aetna
medical plans to choose from, 2 MetLife dental plans to choose
from, vision, life and 401k. Medical prices range from as low as
$31 contribution, all the way up to $350, depending on the
selections. Dental range is from as low as $12 to $69, and Vision
ranges from $3.50 to $12.50. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite
