Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly
motivated and qualified mid-level engineer in our construction
group. This position offers an excellent opportunity for upward
mobility within a growing firm. Description Construction Inspection
(Primary Focus) Lead projects and/or perform on-site inspection and
documentation of WisDOT or other client highway and bridge
construction projects. Verify contractor compliance with WisDOT
standards, specifications, and contract documents. Track
quantities, review pay applications and maintain accurate daily
records using WisDOT reporting systems. Communicate directly with
contractors, WisDOT staff, and project team members to resolve
field issues. Design Support (Secondary Focus) Use Autodesk Civil
3D to prepare plan sheets, revisions, and technical exhibits for
WisDOT projects. Assist with roadway and structure design tasks as
needed. Perform engineering calculations to support design
decisions and verify contractor submittals. Project & Team Support
Lead or provide day-to-day support to project managers and
engineers across multiple projects. Coordinate with WisDOT, local
municipalities, and internal team members to ensure smooth project
delivery. Handle multiple deadlines while producing high-quality
work in both design and field environments. Communicate effectively
with team members, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Provide guidance for staff, promote company growth, and advance
current processes. Qualifications Education & Experience Minimum of
a four-year technical degree in a civil engineering related field
or comparable education with relatable experience. Familiarity with
Wisconsin Department of Transportation and local agency procedures.
(preferred) Technical Knowledge Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D
(preferred) Professional Skills Effective conflict resolution and
problem-solving abilities. Strong oral and written communication
skills. Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills. Computer
literacy, including use of relevant communication and file
organization software. Interpersonal & Leadership Skills Strong
interpersonal skills for engaging with team members & clients.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Other
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Authorization
to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide

lift at least 25lbs. Prolonged periods on construction sites in
all-season weather conditions Excessive standing or walking on
uneven terrain Pushing, pulling, and lifting of equipment or

needed ?Occasional travel required for meetings, training, and
