Job Description:
A company is looking for a Vulnerability Management
Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Understand, review, and interpret assessment and scanning results,
reducing false positives and advising customers
Collaborate with teams to create tactical and strategic plans while
maintaining knowledge of vulnerability management issues
Provide guidance on vulnerability assessment scanning, false
positive validation, and compliance scanning using relevant
tools
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a technical security support role
Strong network engineering experience with Linux/Unix, Windows, and
network infrastructure administration
Experience with Vulnerability Management platforms such as
QualysGuard, Nessus, or Rapid 7
Ability to provide guidance and support for vulnerability
remediation scenarios
One or more relevant certifications such as CISSP, GPEN, GCIH, or
CEH are desired but not mandatory
