opportunity is part of the IDL Segment Technology Solution
Readiness where our vision is to deploy technology that delights
our customers and enables markets to accelerate digital
adoption.The Sr Manager - Tech Lead reports into the Director -
Restaurant Technology and is responsible for the development,
support and services of the restaurant platform. The Tech Lead
partners with the vendors and Restaurant Platforms teams to craft
and deliver the solutions to the markets and segment.The Tech Lead
is responsible for the readiness of capabilities and services of
the systems within the group ensuring they are secure and
standardized and can be easily consumed by the markets. Ensuring
the solution and standard processes are consistently applied across
all markets.Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with key team members
including market representatives, deployment teams, and development
teams.
- Lead the readiness assessment of restaurant platforms and
products.
- Develop and implement global processes, policies, and standards
for restaurant tech solutions.
- Drive a technical direction for the product, participate in any
relevant partner selection, and lead a development team.
- Partner with our restaurant platform, product, and engineering
teams to review architecture, solution designs and drive alignment
on a Platform.
- Manage the output (quality and efficiency) of external vendor
squads to ensure they are delivering to the standards required by
McDonald's.
- Ensure that the code development meets architectural, quality,
and security standards.
- Provide training and support to teams on new restaurant tech
solutions and processes.
- Collaborate with Product and segment teams to align solutions
with business objectives and market needs.
- Assist and be the subject matter expert on features and
capabilities to our development partners and other product teams to
ensure alignment.
- Coordinate and/or implement plans to ensure that technical
solutions meet the needs of the business.
- Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating
with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior
management, peers, and others; identifying and initiating projects;
managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding
self and team accountable for results.
- Serve as a technical subject matter professional for junior
configurators, providing on-the-job mentoring/training, assisting
with configuration design, and reviewing work products.Benefits

YesThe expected salary range for this role is $149,260 - $190,310
per year.The above represents the expected salary range for this
job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we may also
consider your experience, and other job-related
factors.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in: Computer Science, Engineering or related
field.
- 8 plus years of technology experience required.
- 3 plus years of Agile Product Management experience, preferably
on customer-facing products leading agile development teams.
- Proficient technical leader with hands-on development and
deployment experience.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate trainings and
handover activities across various technology and business
collaborators.
- Experience collaborating with team members across a complex and
global matrix organisational structure.
- Experience working on projects that span multiple
organisations, geographies and business units.
- Experience in Agile Development, application of Agile
techniques and delivery practices.
- Advocates for the adoption of Agile methodologies to foster
hard-working ethos in product teams.
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex
technical decisions to non-technical team members.
- Retail and Digital technology experience - especially point of
sale systems.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills; analytics approach and
skills in research and analysis.
- A passion for driving an improved customer experience as well
as a passion for improving operations.
- A love of new technologies and the drive to find ways to
implement better tools and processes.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing indirect
reports to achieve organizational goals.
- Experience and expertise in project and product planning,
including product definition, feature prioritization, trade-off
processes, and roadmap creation.
- Curious, task-oriented, and a self-starter with a strong bias
for action; Proven track record of "getting things done".Additional
