Architecture Director, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for our Oracle
practice.Responsibilities:
- Engage with KPMG team and customers to help position OCI Data
Platform services while conducting discovery sessions and creating
proposals.
- Support business development activities such as identification,
proposal development, and other pursuit activities; work with the
appropriate KPMG resources from other service
lines/industries.
- Lead the delivery of OCI consulting services to ensure client
satisfaction in OCI Data and AI projects.
- Design data modernization strategies and architecture for
client solutions including Canonical modeling, Oracle Exadata/ADB
and Data integration.
- Design data foundation for AI/ML and GenAI solutions.
- Design migration/modernization strategy for transitioning
databases to OCI, including creating architecture blueprints and
detailed documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams
during implementation of OCI solutions.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal
responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work
environment.Qualifications:
- A minimum of eight years of consulting and five years of
experience in Cloud computing with OCI or other hyperscalers.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience with 2 or more OCI projects related to data
modernization and experience with estimations, resource plans,
building proposals and managing teams.
- Oracle Cloud Databases Certified Professional Certification,
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Professional Certification is required,
and Experience with Fusion Apps is a nice to have.
- Hands-on architecture experience in designing and implementing
complex OCI data architectures using Exadata/ADB; hands-on data
modeling and data integration extremely preferred.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, working with
DB@hyperscalers Azure, GCP or AWS preferred with proficiency in OCI
DI, Dataflow, ODI, OML, Apex desired.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Travel as required.
