DescriptionCandidates located in the following locations will be
considered:Milwaukee WI, Detroit MI, Kansas City MO, St Louis MO,

Pittsburgh PAAs a Healthcare Financial/Actuarial Associate
Director, you will be a key member of the Financial Actuarial &
Analytics (FAA) Community of Expertise. You will lead clients'
financial/actuarial engagements for a portfolio of clients and/or
significantly contribute to complex clients across the full
spectrum of employer health and group benefit programs including
medical, dental, life, disability, etc. In partnership with Client
Service colleagues, you will communicate FAA concepts, strategies,
and results that effectively drive client action and improve plan
performance, and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge
projects alongside industry leaders.The Role
- Expand knowledge of varying client complexity by working across
different client profiles.
- Lead clients' financial/actuarial engagements for a portfolio
of small clients or manage FAA resources on more complex clients
and/or deliverables.
- Demonstrate clear understanding of the FAA service catalog and
advanced knowledge in all aspects of benefit plan design,
underwriting/funding, and post-retirement/employment concepts.
- Guide teams on cost avoidance, risk, and funding strategies
based on client needs. Provide leadership to junior colleagues on
FAA concepts, strategies, and tools.
- Review technical and consulting accuracy on client projects,
including developing pricing and employee contribution strategies,
modeling plan design alternatives, and calculating reserves.
- Partner with Global Delivery Centers and Client Service teams
to ensure effective project management.
- Build strong internal relationships and collaborate on
cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers' and vendors'
primary contacts to enhance WTW and H&B's brand.
- Contribute to intellectual capital development.
- Support new business initiatives, expansion, and cross-selling
activities.Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in professional services, ideally gained
in a benefit consulting/brokerage firm or health
underwriting/actuarial function of an insurance company.
- Experience working across multiple client segments.
- Advanced knowledge of broad health and welfare products &
services.
- Knowledge and experience using big data analytics
techniques.
- Expertise in cost avoidance, risk, and funding strategies.
- Subject matter expertise on emerging trends.
- Proven ability to lead multiple clients/projects
simultaneously, producing quality deliverables on time and within
budget.
- Successful experience in expanding client relationships through
selling additional services.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and help
teams do the same.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to guide and provide feedback to junior
colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and
PowerPoint.
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of
joining.
- Relevant financial experience and/or a university degree.
- Progress towards health actuarial or CEBS designation

candidate is found.Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range for
this role is $115,000 to $150,000 USD annually, plus eligibility
for an annual short-term incentive bonus. WTW offers a
