Work Schedule :100% FTE, Monday-Friday, four 10-hour shifts. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:Provide bedside first-assist coverage for Robotic Surgical Cases for the following surgical services: Thoracic, Minimally Invasive, Transplant and Surgical Oncology for surgical efficiency and patient safetyAssist in navigating patient through the perioperative experience from Pre-op area, intraoperatively until PACUCommunicate with all members of perioperative team regarding physician requests, preferences, supplies and equipment related to robotic proceduresEducation :Minimum If Nurse Practitioner:Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program.If Physician Assistant:Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA ProgramLicenses and Certifications :Minimum If Nurse Practitioner: : Active RN, RN First Assist, and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP in Adult; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Emergency; Family; Gerontology.If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire AND CPR certification.Our Commitment to Diversity and InclusionUW Health is committed to being a diverse, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
