About The Position We are seeking a qualified Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a 8-day locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin starting in early June 2025 covering night shifts, 6:30 PM - 7 AM. This role involves providing patient care within an Emergency Room setting, specifically handling 8-10 acute care patients per night with minor cases and little to no trauma. Additionally, the candidate will manage up to one EICU patient per day, conducting tele-consults with a higher acuity level. This position starts in early June and is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to expand their experience in hospitalist and emergency care. Job Details - Location: Wisconsin - Start Date: Jun 4, 2025 - LOA: 8 weeks - Provider Type Needed: Hospitalist Physician Assistant - Schedule: Night shifts, 6:30 PM - 7 AM Responsibilities and Duties - Manage 8-10 acute care patients per night, focusing on minor cases with minimal trauma. - Care for one EICU patient per day, involving tele-consults and coordination with a University of Wisconsin physician. - Ensure comprehensive patient documentation using Meditech EHR. - Adhere to protocols for patient care and safety. Additional Information - Required Board Certifications: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) - Must possess a valid Wisconsin PA license. - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
