Job Description UW Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a job in MADISON, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Surgical Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: /n Full-time, 100% FTE, 40 hours/week. Monday - Friday, 3 12-hour shifts 11:00 AM -11:00 PM. Rotate weekend call (Friday - Sunday) and holiday call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department. /n Pay: /n /n - A competitive starting pay and relevant work experience will be considered. /n - External candidates may be eligible for up to a $10,00 sign-on bonus for evening/night/weekend shift (pro-rated based on FTE). /n - Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants. /n /n Additional Components of compensation may Include: /n /n - Evening and night shift differential /n - On-call pay /n - Weekend differential /n /n Be part of something remarkable /n Jo in our REMARKABLE Inpatient Surgery team who works together to perform complex surgical procedures to patients from all over the world! /n We are seeking a Surgical Tech to: /n /n - Work in our fast-paced environment to prepare the Operating Room prior to surgery. /n - Work with world renowned surgeons within our Level 1 Trauma Center. /n - Prepare for and perform complex surgical procedures. /n - Anticipate the needs of and assist surgeons during surgery. /n /n Education: /n Minimum -Completion of Surgical Technologist program. Two (2) years of Surgical Technologist experience may be considered in lieu of completion of a Surgical Technologist program. /n Work Experience: /n Preferred - Completion of a Surgical Technologist program.
