Hourly Pay Range: $35.35 - $54.79 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Ultrasound Technologist Position Highlights: - Sign on Bonus: $10,000 - Position: Ultrasound/Vascular Technologists - Evenings - Location: Swedish Hospital, Chicago - Full Time - 40 hours/week - Hours: Monday-Friday 12:30pm-8:30pm - Rotating On call Required - Required Travel: No What you will do: - Performs ultrasound exams. - Performs vascular exams. - Related paperwork. - Explanation of exams. - Assists radiologist/physician with all biopsies, specialized ultrasound and vascular exams. - Stocking of linens and supplies as needed. - Cleans and maintains room/equipment. - Understands the utilization of PACS. - Promotes timely workflow. - Adheres to all OSHA and Infection Control policies. - The duties listed may not be all inclusive. - Assists in the transporting of acutely ill patients as needed. - Assists with clerical duties (phone, scheduling, computer entry, etc.). - Helps insure safe and clean working environment for patients and co-workers. What you will need: - High School Required - Must have the ability to handle ultrasound and vascular equipment and properly position patients.
