Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pediatrics - Discipline: Nurse Practitioner - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. No holidays or call requirements. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department. At the American Family Children’s Hospital, we are a part of the Carbone Cancer Center, Wisconsin’s only comprehensive cancer center as designated by the National Cancer Institute. We provide cutting edge research and world class patient care. Education: - If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program. - If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program. Licenses and Certifications: Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure If Nurse Practitioner*: - Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND - Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Pediatric Primary Care or Pediatric Acute Care.
