registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years NICU RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide expert nursing care
within a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) supporting
fragile newborns ranging from 24 weeks gestation and up, including
micro preemies and high-acuity infants requiring respiratory
support or surgical care. This contract position is based in
Naperville, IL, offering a focused opportunity to utilize
specialized NICU RN skills in a busy hospital environment. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates
with complex medical needs including grower-feeders and those
requiring high-intensity respiratory support. - Collaborate with
interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized
care plans. - Utilize Epic charting system accurately for all
patient documentation. - Provide support during 12-hour night
shifts (7 PM to 7 AM), working every other weekend. - Maintain
compliance with all policies related to Level III NICU acuity
standards. Qualifications and Experience: - Registered Nurse
licensed in Illinois. - Minimum 2 years of experience as NICU RN in
a Level III setting. - Proficient in care of infants as young as 24
weeks gestation. - Current CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation Program
(NRP) certifications. - Experience with high-acuity neonates
including micro preemies and post-surgical patients. - Comfortable
with potential float assignments to a nearby campus based on
census. Location:Nestled in the thriving community of Naperville,
