Radiologic Technologist (EP/IR) – Travel Contract Location:
Rockford, IL Job Type: Contract Job Overview: We are seeking a
highly skilled Radiologic Technologist with Electrophysiology (EP)
and Interventional Radiology (IR) experience for a Cath Lab
setting. The ideal candidate must be proficient in both scrub and
monitoring roles , including handling devices and assisting with
ablation procedures. This role requires versatility across both
cardiology and radiology cases in a fast-paced environment.
Assignment Details: Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Schedule:
4 x 10-hour shifts per week On-Call: 1–2 nights per week Every 4th
weekend Holiday call as needed Key Responsibilities: Perform scrub
and monitoring duties in Cath Lab procedures Assist in EP studies,
device implants, and ablation procedures Support Interventional
Radiology and cardiology cases Operate imaging equipment and ensure
high-quality imaging Maintain sterile field and adhere to
procedural protocols Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes
during procedures Collaborate with physicians and clinical team for
optimal outcomes Requirements: ARRT Certification (Required)
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience EP (Electrophysiology)
experience required Strong Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
Ability to perform both scrub and monitoring roles Experience with
devices and ablations Strong clinical and multitasking skills
Additional Requirements: No local candidates within a 50-mile
radius Must be flexible with on-call scheduling
