Job Description:
Coach USA is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join
our team as School Bus Drivers. As a key member of the Coach USA
family, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to
and from school, along with various school-related activities. Our
drivers ensure that our young passengers have a safe and pleasant
journey, reflecting the high standards and reputation of Coach USA,
a leading provider in the bus transportation sector. Safely drive
students to and from school, following a set schedule and route.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure
optimal vehicle safety. Ensure the safe boarding and exiting of the
school bus for all students. Manage student behavior and maintain
order on the bus to ensure a safe environment. Communicate
effectively with parents, school administrators, and team members
regarding student transport matters. Maintain a clean and
mechanically sound bus at all times. Follow state and local traffic
laws and regulations as well as company safety policies. Valid
driver’s license and clean driving record. Strong attention to
safety and detail. Effective communication and management skills
for handling school-age children. Ability to respond to emergencies
or unexpected situations calmly and effectively. Basic mechanical
knowledge of automotive functions is a plus. Vision Insurance 401k
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger and School
Bus Endorsements. Completion of a background check and drug
screening. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
