Job Description:

Looking for a talented and driven Software Engineer with a strong background in JavaScript, React, CMS, Node and Python to join our fast-paced team in Chicago. This hybrid role (4 days on-site) is perfect for a developer who is front-end focused but has a full-stack mindset. This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential for long-term growth.Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, etc.) to create interactive and responsive user interfaces.
• Work with CMS platforms to integrate content management systems with custom-built solutions.
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, debugging, and code reviews.
• Collaborate in an Agile development environment, helping drive innovation and fast iteration cycles.Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on React, Node and Python.
• Strong experience with front-end technologies (React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Contentful, etc.) and integrating them into custom applications.
• Solid understanding of Python for server-side development.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Prior experience in fast-paced, high-growth tech environments.Benefits:
