organization is currently seeking a Senior Workday Integration
Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join
a dynamic team focused on developing and supporting Workday
integration! This position can be located in Everett, WA,
Arlington, VA, Charleston, SC, Chicago, IL, Houston, TX,
Huntsville, AL, Long Beach, CA, Mesa, AZ, Renton, WA, Ridley Park,
PA, Berkeley, MO, or Hazelwood, MO.The ideal applicant for this
role will have previous experience with Workday integration and
managing a team of onshore and offshore developers ensuring
quality, best practices and that timelines are met.Position
Responsibilities:
- Develop Workday integrations between new and existing systems,
both internal and external
- Develop and support integrations, configuration and related
workflow solutions for Workday
- Deliver on-going support for integrations, including testing
during Workday releases
- Develop, support and manage application code, user interfaces
and third-party integration components for Boeings Workday solution
using Workday Studio / Report Designer (BIRT), Enterprise Interface
Builder (EIB), Core Connectors & Document Transformations,
Calculated Fields, Report Writer / RaaS (Reports-as-a-Service), Web
Services (SOAP/REST), XML, XSLT, xPath and JSON
- Perform full life cycle software development activities
- Perform necessary investigations, analysis and evaluations
- Gather and evaluate end user requirements
- Work in an Agile software delivery environment on a highly
collaborative Agile team
- Work directly with business, functional and technical teams to
assess Workday integration needs and best practices as the process
owner or subject matter expert (SME)
- Lead and perform the design, program, test, implementation and
documentation of complex computing applications and software or
computing architecture and computing application system
designs
- Lead analysis of end user processes to define application
requirements
- Write and compile complex code based on documented design or
designs application architecture principles
- Modify or upgrade complex applications to maintain
functionality and performance
- Identify and recommend improvements
- Identify and resolve complex programming or application
architecture problems
- Form and lead cross-functional teams across multiple business
processes
- Contract with customers to design a process based on customer
requirements and objective
- Ensure accurate deliverables, maintains results, and
communicates to all participants
- Collect, analyze, document and integrate requirements from
multiple process owners
- Apply and make recommendations for the process, data, and
applications/systems architecture
- Influence, negotiate and act as a change agent with a diverse
audience for complex process improvements
- Serve as mentor to others within the skill
- Lead transition into actionable business strategy by
understanding company policies, strategic direction and strategic
initiatives
- Facilitate development and assist with deployment of integrated
strategic plans for process improvement/management and
organizational direction
- Learn to balance competing strategic initiatives
- Lead the successful completion of specific programs, projects
and implementation activities
- Prepare work estimates for assigned tasks using cost benefit
analysis
- Conduct business requirements review, coordinates testing
schedules and assist in the preparation of test scripts
- Understand, apply and develop process standards, guidelines and
tools
- Peer review code prior to production releaseThis position is
expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required
to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Basic
Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in Workday module configurations or
integrations in one or more: Human Capital Management core,
Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management, Talent Management,
Time & Absence Management, Payroll, Benefits and Compensation
modules
- 3+ years of experience with Requirements Management
- 3+ years of experience with requirements based testing
- 3+ years of experience in Workday Studio, Reports As A Service,
Core/Cloud Connect, Business Process Framework, and Calculated
Fields
- Experience creating and consuming XML based web
servicesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
- Bachelors degree or higher in related field
- Workday Partner/Pro certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a role that required Project
Management skills
- Experience developing and implementing process
improvements
- Experience in design thinking, user centered design, human
