Job Description Job Description Looking for an experienced Senior Big Data Developer Experience: 8 - 10 years Job Location: Rolling Meadows, IL Requirements Primary / Essential Skills : SPARK with Scala or Python Secondary / Optional Skills : AWS, UNIX & SQL Looking for an experienced Senior Big Data Developer who will be responsible for, Technical leadership in driving solutions and hands on contributions To build new cloud based ingestion, transformation and data movement applications To migrate / modernize legacy data platforms Contribute and Assist in translating the requirements to high level and low level solution designs and working program / code Interact with business/IT stakeholders, other involved teams to understand requirements, identify dependencies, suggest and convincingly present solutions any or all parties involved. Perform hands-on to deliver on commitments and coordinating with team members both onsite and offshore and enable the team to deliver on commitments. To be successful in this role, the candidate must need, Good working knowledge and strong on concepts on Spark framework Comfortably work with any one or more of the scripting language listed in the order of preference, Scala, Python , Unix shell scripting Experience / exposure in AWS Services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS) and related cloud technologies Good understanding of DATA space - Data Integration, Building Data Warehouse solutions
