Job Description:
Quad In-Store is currently seeking a Platform Leader to work at
our facility in West Allis. The position requires individuals to
coordinate and supervise various operations in the kitting
department. The job duties for this position include, but are not
limited to: - Lead the efforts of hourly manufacturing, support
employees and temporary staff to meet customer requirements of
quality and on-time delivery. - Oversee manufacturing operations
that include flat cutting, diecutting, shrink-wrapping, taping,
stock mounting, and lamination. - Read and understand job tickets.
Complete necessary job paperwork. - Effectively communication with
finishing operators, support staff, and inventory control. - Work
with upstream and downstream departments to ensure handoffs are
being met in a timely fashion. - Comply with and enforce and safety
and quality requirements. Qualifications: - Experience in a
leadership role is required. Strong leadership skills are essential
in this position. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Some
equipment operations are controlled via a computer interface. The
position requires the ability to navigate through multiple computer
screens quickly and efficiently. - Successful candidates must
possess solid organizational and problem-solving skills and be able
to work in a fast-paced environment. - Must be self-motivated,
reliable, and quality and safety-oriented. - Ability to apply
written instructions to job set-up. - Able to lift up to 50 pounds,
reaching, bending, walking, standing, stooping, pulling, and
pushing with or without reasonable accommodations. - Must be
available for overtime during the week, and on weekends when
needed.
