Certified Medical Assistant is needed in Crystal Lake, IL , through Adecco Medical & Science. This is a contract opportunity. Description: The Certified Medical Assistant functions as a member of the clinic patient care team, that will be testing for COVID 19. The site is located outside, in a heated tent. The Certified Medical Assistant will be coordinating and maintaining a positive customer experience, while performing functions that include but are not limited to performing swabs, checking in patients, performing utility tasks and processing the rapid tests, along with technical/clerical tasks, and patient care tasks if needed. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Be able to interact in a friendly, professional manner with a wide range of patients and staff. Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure is essential. Must be able to function effectively in an environment where it is necessary to perform several tasks simultaneously, and where interruptions are frequent.Specific Duties: Provide Check In's.Compete Swabs.Handle utility tasks. (stocking the tent and stations, set up or sterilization as needed and more).Process rapid tests.Must have qualifications/experience: High School Diploma or GED1 Year experience as a Certified Medical AssistantHave computer experience, especially within Microsoft Office.Experience with EMR's/EMS's is preferred, but not required. Strong customer service and communication, both verbal and written.Shift Start/End Time: Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm/9am to 6pm, must be flexible to work on weekends.Dress Code: To be Determined.Contract Start/Length: December 15, 2020, with no determined end date at this time.If you are interested in this position, please click APPLY NOW .
