We train our employees on these best practices and regularly clean our sites in accordance with CDC guidelines.Please note:All individuals entering our facilities are required to complete a self-health check, wear a mask and follow all posted guidelines.What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.Accountabilities:Directs and coordinates all activities of their respected teams to include, Safety, Quality, Production output in an efficient, safe and cost effective manner in accordance with the Quality System to meet and exceed plant goals while maintaining company polices and culture. Must be available and open to working any shift.Fills in and acts as the Production Supervisor for the Crew when the Supervisor is unavailable.Coordinates production and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process engineering.Assists the Training Coordinators and training personnel with the training of new hire employees as well as tenured employees. Responsible for writing investigations for quality non-conformance issues that occur on their team.Assists in implementing OP EX initiatives to meet plant cost savings goalsManage the activities of approximately 20 associates.Responsible for approving their individual team's time. Ability to multi-task, self-starter, strong communication both written and oral, to all levels of management.Follows all company policies and procedures are being followed as appropriate and ensuring that employees are following procedures..Responsible team performance in the areas of machine OEE (comprised of quality/scrap, availability, and performance) and making real time adjustments throughout the shift to increase OEE.Works independently from verbal and/or written instructions as given by the Supervisor.Answers Tenders questions/concerns in their realm of experience using policies and procedures to support and justify, coaching and teaching employees and assisting the Supervisor in maintaining accountability.Observes and documents Employee performance to maintain accountability and to support performance reviews. Assists the Supervisor in the preparation of employee reviews. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area and ensuring the Tenders maintain a clean and safe work are for each operation assigned to their team through 7S. Coaches employees as to 7S expectations.Ensures quality product is being produced at the standard rate while minimizing scrap and downtime.Assists supervisor with disciplinary actions as appropriate. Will be responsible for administering low level disciplinary action.Assist in the attendance record keeping of each employee per the attendance policy and as well as issuing Progressive Corrective Action (PCA) for the different levels reached per the attendance policy.Captures direct/indirect re-class of labor.Ability to multi-task, self-starter, works independently from verbal and/or written instructions, strong communicator. Assigns resources to meet daily priorities and oversees Line Clearance actions to ensure efficient changeovers.Assists in the Completion of the Employee Rewards and Recognition program.Assist the Supervisor in tracking employees Safety EngagementQualificationsExcellent interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills required4+ years of experience OR equivalent years of education as a Bachelor's degree strongly preferredPrevious leadership experience required; manufacturing experience preferredProficient in Microsoft officeGood written and verbal communication skillsWhat is expected of you and others at this levelApplies extensive knowledge and company policies to complete a wide range of assignmentsDemonstrates expert understanding of all levels of the job family and has thorough knowledge of jobs outside area of responsibilityTakes the lead in effectively applying new processes and skills in accomplishing assignmentsMay provide technical guidance and training to othersMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certificationsWorks on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issueMakes recommendation for new or revised processes and has a role on the implementationAdheres to all quality guidelinesWorks with minimal degree of supervision.
