Our team designs, develops, and maintains scalable technology solutions using innovative architectures, data analytics, and digital solutions.Job overview and responsibilitiesCandidates selected for United's Cybersecurity Early Career Digital Leadership Program will commit to at least three (3) six-month rotations in Cybersecurity and one (1) optional six-month rotation in Digital Technology or Internal Audit, totaling 2 years. Candidates will work across at least two portfolios in technical and process-oriented roles, gaining cross-portfolio knowledge and increasing cybersecurity expertise. Opportunities for growth through technical, personal, and leadership events will be available to all candidates.If selected for the Cybersecurity Rotational Program, candidates will receive detailed assignment overviews and will self-rank based on interests and skills. Roles will be assigned based on seniority, with duties varying by team placement within Cybersecurity and Digital Risk.

• Job functions will vary based on team placement: security, risk, and compliance focus on application security and vulnerability management.
• A rotation in Digital Technology may focus on digital channels strategy, technology, operations, or infrastructure/cloud engineering.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented team, such as a summer internship
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and projects
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Team-oriented interpersonal skills
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Successful interview completion required
  • Reliable and punctual attendancePreferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Experience in cybersecurity
    • Completion of Digital Technology Summer Internship Program
    • At least one 12-week summer internship in Digital Technology at United Airlines
    • Skills in Python, Data Analysis, ServiceNow, AWS, Excel, Linux, PowerBi
    • Foundational United digital technology knowledge from internshipThe salary range for this role is $64,885 - $88,440, dependent on experience, education, and skills.
