The Marquardt, an Illuminus Community, is currently hiring Resident Assistants in our Assisted Living (CBRF). We are set on a 52-acre campus with rolling green lawns, gorgeous trees and flowers and paved walkways. The Marquardt offers assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing care as well as independent living options for older adults in Garden Homes and apartments. Established in 1969, The Marquardt has continued to transform expectations of senior living with ever-evolving and expansive options in Watertown, Wisconsin, conveniently located halfway between Madison and Milwaukee. JOB SUMMARY: A resident assistant (RA) in senior living provides support and assistance to residents with their daily living activities and promotes a safe and engaging environment. They help with tasks like bathing, dressing, eating, and using the toilet, and also offer emotional support and companionship. RAs play a vital role in ensuring residents' well-being and independence. Community-based residential facilities (CBRF ) training preferred, but can be provided! Requirements: At least 16 years of age. Caregiving: 1 year (preferred) CBRF training (preferred, not required) CPR Certification (preferred) Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals. Ability to relate well to all individuals. Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information. Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
