Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for a dedicated School Social Worker to
provide essential support services in a middle school setting
located in Joliet, IL. This contract position for the current
school year (CSY) offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on
students' well-being and academic success. Responsibilities: -
Conduct assessments to identify students social, emotional, and
behavioral needs - Develop and implement intervention plans to
support individual and group student needs - Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and administrators to create a positive school
environment - Provide crisis intervention and counseling services
as needed - Facilitate referrals to outside community resources and
services - Maintain accurate and confidential case records and
documentation in compliance with school policies Qualifications and
Experience: - Licensed Social Worker with credentials appropriate
for school settings - Experience working with middle school-age
children in educational environments - Strong skills in counseling,
crisis management, and student advocacy - Excellent communication
and collaboration abilities - Knowledge of relevant state and
federal education and social service regulations Location: - Middle
school in Joliet, Illinois Benefits of this position include
